Here...I hope...is his most recent mug shot. :) Please excuse puppy pads...one is under litter tray...and the other is for him to lay on and stop the carpet from being covered in fur. He is still wary of me but will sleep spread across the hallway so I need to step over him.

One of mine will only tolerate a head or back stroke then walk away. Has never sat on a lap. However does change her sleeping place weekly going round the house clockwise to very specific " beds"
When he started exposing his belly, I knew progress was being made.
I think he'd like attention, but he's not sure yet about the means of getting it.
He backs away if I've got shoes on...i wonder if he's been kicked. That horrifies me.
Cleo's visit away will be open-ended...we'll see how it goes. Like me, daughter believes he needs to be on his own to gain confidence.

Canary, I got him from a rescue that specialises in un neutered male strays, and some come from horrific conditions. Recently, there were 4 cats, in individual metal cages, dumped on waste ground. And the 20 from a hoarding situation. And then the ones that try to get into people's homes for food/shelter.
