Don't know Pasta. Hope he is getting better if so. Bit concerning that he perhaps "looked in" at 5 minutes past midnight on 8/07/2021, according to his profile, after being off for a month and nothing since. I hope it was him who did indeed look in, and that he is coming back when recovered.

What is meant by "looked in"? Does it mean logged in but didn't post anything? If it does, how does anyone know if a user "looked in"?

10CS - if you look at member's profile, it shows you when they last logged in to AB, even if they didn't post anything.

A member's profile shows when they were 'last active' but that's just an indication that they were logged into the site at the date and time shown. If one then compares that with the 'Questions' and 'Answers' tabs, it will become apparent as to whether they actually posted anything or not.
