Some time ago we were watching Pointless and there was this fella on it . Just happened to notice how much he looked like our Erma’s youngest .On closer inspection it was him . Has anyone you know ever appeared on a quiz show on the telly . First and last time it’s happened to us .

No, not a quiz show, but my best friend from senior school joined a cult and went to India straight after uni.
I was sitting watching wickers world about ten years later and there she was, being interviewed in India by Alan Wicker! I nearly fell off my chair in surprise and shock.

I once saw someone I knew (and didn't like very much) on Come Dine With Me. She had behaved very badly at a couple of social events where she was with our group and I found her extremely embarrassing.
She was an out and out snob and was very rude to people. On CDWM she served almost raw lamb shanks, was disliked by everyone else and came last. I didn't laugh at all at that.

A nice one that I had was after the Bush War #1 and after Saddam's mob had been kicked out of Kuwait. There on the BBC News was the GM, one Ashkanani, of my ex-agent's business handling various French 'domestic' imports into Kuwait and he was being interviewed. Rather pleasing to see that he had made it through unscathed.

Who remembers Kilroy, Robrtert Kilroy Silk?
He used to have a morning show and although I wasn't actually watching it as the subject was topless page 3 girls, I had it on while I was doing other things when I recognised a man's voice. It was the voice of my cousin who was there with his wife and daughter who was actually a page 3 model! They were saying they didn't mind her having that job, and my jaw was on the floor. I had no idea she did that for a living.

My middle daughter appeared with a friend of hers on Supermarket Sweep when Dale Winton was the host and they won the prize at the end.
