For the benefit of others this is saying all dried fruits like raisins etc are toxic to dogs. I have never heard that before so have learnt something (and I've kept several dogs).
A few years ago, my niece's Retriever ate a (stolen) mince pie. Within half an hour, he became very ill and she rushed him to the vets. They administered an emetic and kept him in overnight. When she brought him home, she had to put activated charcoal in his food to prevent the toxins from doing any more damage.
This happened to me once when my German Shepherd ate a whole bar of Green and Black's 85% chocolate. That was stolen too!
Good reminder to keep any dried fruit and chocolate under lock and key. My vets has a poster with all the foods and other things that are poisonous to dogs, there are a lot!
