In my garden, four of them and mum. Will they always roam in my garden, and the surrounding ones, or eventually split up and venture farther afield? My cat is getting a bit fed up with the gang …

I think that the foxes probably have more to worry about than your cat does ;-)

The cubs will probably move on by September, the mother may stay and breed again next year.

Thanks, they are very cute, if it wasn’t for the cat I wouldn’t be worried about them staying.

Unless your cat is very elderly or otherwise infirm you need not worry about him.
