Sunny here (at least for 10 mins lol). Very tired this morning as was working till silly o'clock lastnight. MrSmows away with work later on until tomorrow night so at least I don't have to worry about dinner this evening lol. I'll just do something v quick and easy for myself. Will prob be a jacket potato (dread to think how many jacket potato's I've eaten lol!). If this rare thing called sunshine lasts I mite even brave half hour in the garden to sweep up some of these endless piles of leaves! What are you all up to then?? x

Good morning, sun also breaking through here, should be staying for a few days. Trouble is it is also going to get colder.

Going to try and get out for a good walk this morning, distance depends on how Mr U can manage.  At last he has eaten 2 small meals and the infection feels like it is only at the back of his mouth now. Antibiotics are finished now but hopefully still working.

I went to the hairdresser yesterday, by the time I had walked home (with an umbrella) I looked like a drownd rat.

Enjoy a lazy quiet evening, eating whatever you fancy.

Morning ubasses - yes it looks lovely outside but I've a feeling that it is colder that I think lol! Good news about Mr U hopefully being on the mend. There is not many places more miserable to feel poorly than your mouth. I was messaging a friend late lastnight - a 44 yr old male  - and he said that he's had an abscess in his mouth for a couple of days, and lastnight the pain had reduced him to tears : (

Morning all. Blue skies here at the moment and small signs spring is on its way. A hospital visit to see Mr R is likely this afternoon. Parking can be an absolute nightmare, older son often has to drop me and wheelchair off near entrance, then go away to park, sometimes off site. Oh well, you do what you have to do, it could be worse I suppose

Have a happy day you all

Morning Rosetta. Sounds like the parking at our hospital - an absolute nightmare! People queue in the car parks just waiting for someone to reverse out of their parking bay when they are leaving and then all hell breaks loose as everyone clambers for the space!!

Good morning all. Glad to hear Mr U is on the mend, and I hope Rosetta has some good news. How did you get on at your bone density test?

The sky is blue here in the Midlands, and for once there is no rain forecast. I must admit I am heartily sick of the wet weather, especially when the adverts for Water Aid come on.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning calda. Oh the test..... well, drove half hr to the hosp, had it done which took bout 25 mins, drove the half hr home only to get a call from the hospital as I was pulling into my road - asking me if I could go back as they needed to do it again!! So I had to drive all way back and do the whole thing again! Let's just say a few choice words were muttered!

Morning...that's a bummer Smow. Hopefully it didn’t interfere with any other plans.

I'm out very soon to meet a friend for lunch. We were supposed to meet before Christmas...but she had pneumonia! She's already told me tales of her horrible hospital stay. She's a former (old school) nurse...so you can imagine!

Enjoy the sun 🌞 ☀️
