Hi,

I'm 55 in a couple of weeks and I'm withdrawing the full amount from a small pension pot. I've got 25% tax free and the rest is being deducted emergency tax at 45%. How do I claim the overpaid tax back. Is it automatically done by HMRC at the end of the current tax year or do I have to apply for it back (form filling)

TIA
