Dog Friendly Beaches
Can anyone recommend any dog friendly beaches that are within a 2 hour drive of North London / Hertfordshire?
Thank you!

But there is a beautiful beach where we take our two Springers. It's pebbly for the first 100 odd yards and then, at low tide, there is a vast sand flat where the dogs can run to their hearts content right down to the shallow edges of the sea.
Well worth a visit IMHO
Thanks for your ideas, it's so difficult to know where you're allowed to take dogs and I didn't want to drive to a beach with the chance we wouldn't even be able to let her off her lead.
She's only 8 months old and hasn't done any really long car journeys so we didn't want to push it by taking her anywhere too far in case she doesn't handle it well.
I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees all that sand and sea for the first time!
Thanks again! : )
