My dogs hair dulls my clippers extremely fast. I think it is because it is so long and soft and fluffy. Its hard to shave him. My dog doesnt bite but he squirms alot so I wrap him in a blanket like a baby with his legs tucked inside and his head popping out. That way I can trim his face. When I need to trim his body I wrap the blanket around the front section with the head and butt sticking out. Make sure the front legs are pushed down so the pads of his feet are towards his chest that way he can't push the blanket off. Doing the middle section is a little tricky but he has usually given up by then so I just stand him on a table and rely on alot of "No's" to make him stay still. Careful going to the groomer, make sure to tell them not to cut his ears, beard, and mustache if you want him to keep them...I learned the hard way!
