Frogspawn

Yippee. Spring is here! Found four batches of frogspawn in my little pond today. Has anybody else got any yet? Am sure I can't be the first.

WendyS, I don't think we're the first, by a long way, but last Friday our pond was literally bubbling with froggy activity, and we also have frogspawn.Always makes me feel that Spring is on the way. We live in Wiltshire which is reasonably mild.

I checked on BBC Springwatch Website the other day and it seems that some people find it very early in the year.

I'll race you for the first tadpole!

Hi WendyS, You lucky thing you !

I've been checking my two ponds and others around my area but alas nothing yet, still a bit of ice about at the moment but I feel sure it will not be long now, I'm keen on spotting some newts too, I will keep you posted..

I am in Manchester and have seen neither frogs or frogspawn. Has anyone else up north got any or seen any yet??
