Are The West In The Grip Of The Woke...

Some of you might remember that i lost one of my cats last September due to kidney failure. Now we have a new problem. The 2 remaining cats are still fighting to be top cat. The younger one, Ramsey, dont really care, she just wants to sleep but tha problem is the older cat, Sophie. She keeps attacking Ramsey and i mean attacking and no she has a more annoying habit. She keeps strecthing up the walls and clawing at the wallpaper. Theres scrath marks all over the house, even up the stairs.
Has anyone else had any problems like this and how do i stop it? She has never done this before and only started it about 5 weeks ago, which is ages since Jess died. She is driving me nuts with all wallpaper bits on floor and pouncing of Ramsey as soon as she enters a room. Any advice?

sorry i cant help with the fighting but i have heard that a cat can completly hate another for no reason
good luck
The cats have a scratching post that they have for years and they both still use it all the time. I bought them a new one a few months ago and they didnt like it, kept using the old one. But Sophie is using the scratching post, fences and carpets etc and now my walls. She's driving me crackers.
The fighting is calming down a bit, think she's turning into a grumpy old woman! Its the scratching at the walls that are annoying me the most.
