Poorly Oranda?
7 Answers
Hello, Was wondering if anyone could help? My Oranda Bungle has a lump on his head, it started off quite small but is getting bigger - it resembles a cauliflower like growth! All other signs on him are normal and he's still eating as if he's got a bottomless belly! any suggestions - cheers.

It's only in the last few weeks that a growth has appeared on his head. His head does resemble a crash helmet but it's the cauliflower looking growth that's growing on one side of his head that's worrying - it's also a slightly different colour. The cap of his head is orange but the growth is a lot lighter. His fins have developed splits but i've treated this and they're improving. Also do the required regular water changes and check water quality, everything is in the normal ranges. I'm at a loss as to what's wrong with him, he's my wifes pet and she's really worried about him - and also she driving me mad!
