is my hamster pregnant?

I went away to a funeral for a weekend and left my female hamster with my neighbor who owns a male hamster. I told my neighbor they could be together for a little while as long as she kept an eye on them. She put them together and it looked like they were fighting but now as we (my family and them) look back on it we think they may have been mating. They were only together for a couple of seconds but we're not sure. I've been looking this up but i want more advice. Please Help!

buy a pregnancy test, tape hamster to it and let nature take its course!

Depends on what breed of Hamster they are, if they are Syrian then chances are they were fighting as they generally don't like each other's company, also if your female is more than 12-14 months of age she will be sterile anyway, if she is younger then I would pop to the vets and get her checked.
