You must remember you are still keeping live animals and they are totally dependant on you and the amount of care you give them.
If you know the basics of keeping marines ie a basic understanding of water chemistry, understanding how the equpment all works and what it does, essential maintenance, fish and fish compatibility, diseases and their prevention etc etc, you should be able to keep marines with reletive ease.
Your maintenance regime should be done religiously....especially water changes because if you don't, all your fish will die.
So the advice i would give you to start with is to read as much as you can and learn as much as possible before you start. As lots of questions....however stupid they may seem (the only stupid question is the one you don't ask !!!!!).
register on http://www.uk-aquarist.com/index.php?act=idx It's a fishkeeping forum with lots of knowlegable marine keepers on there so you can learn loads and ask lots of questions.
