Is it safe to give my cat tuna in brine or should he have it in spring water or sunflower oil?

Hello all
Just back from Asda - was going to buy tuna in spring water then I noticed that even it had added salt. Same for in oil!
Found a site that said salt will not harm healthy cats as they excrete it in their pee?
I would suggest in oil is too greasy for cats and that you should buy tuna in brine, decant into a sieve and rinse with tap water then it is OK
As for fish not being their natural food, well OK cats are not sharks or bears but they are natural carnivores! I feed my beautiful boy, Oscar a combination of fish and science plan.
I thik we are poisoning our pets with normal cat food as it is the dregs from the abbatoir that even aren't fit for sausages. Best to buy cat food that only contains either fish or fowl. It is not natural to feed cats beef, pork etc. Let's not forget that mad cow disease started because they were feeding SHEEP to cows (that natural sheep eating predator - NOT!)
Anyone tried any of the veggie cat foods?
