Im not sure how serious this q is but they make little carts that the dog puts his rear end in and uses his front legs to move. im sure its possible to do it the other way around too.
There was a news story recently about a dog born with only two (front) legs. It managed to get around ok, but I have never heard of a dog with only one leg - certainly no vet would operate to leave a dog with only one (or two come to that) but the dog I read of was born like it so knew no different.
Pogo in 101 Dalmatians uses spring power to get around!
my cat has only 3 legs he lost 1 of his back legs by getting caught in a car's fan belt....when he was 2 ,he;s now 12 and he uses his tail to balance with he gets around superbly,i know you was asking about a dog but its the same princible
Long John Silver was an old sea-dog with only one leg. Quite nimble all the same, we're told.

There is Faith, the two legged dog. She only has two back legs.
