hi all
how often should i do a de-fleaing treatment on my puppy.he has no fleas but im not sure if i need to do it as a precaution? x

If you use the spot on which you put on the back of the neck, then this is usually done once a month. I prefer the spray (Frontline, only available from the vets) and although this says it lasts for 3 months, if they have been anywhere there are sheep I always spray them again in case of ticks. Also Frontline is suitable for puppies from 2 weeks old, whereas some say not to be used on puppies under six months.
I sell flea treatments, and it amazes me why people buy the cheap stuff and then have to come back for more because it hasn't worked. Buy a decent one and it will do the job and last.
