could it be sand lizards
sand lizards r very rare in britain. i presume thats where u r. my husband thinks that maybe they r eggs that have fallen out of a nest or been taken out by another bird so they can use the nest
2 common blue eggs that spring to mind are the dunock, sometimes called a hedge sparrow, the other possibly is the starling. Parent birds will often remove empty shells from the nest and drop them some distance from the away.
Question Author
these are not bird eggs they are very small the size of a small marble with a soft covering not a shell more like a spongy liquid and it is a bright blue and it is in the U.S.A in northwestern Ohio
