Is it just a myth, or do some mountain goats have legs on one side that are longer than the other side, to accommodate for the mountain slope? There is a bet riding on this!!!!

You are joking, of course!!!!
Thats normally the tale of the haggis- one side legs longer so they can run round Scottish hills. To catch them you simply chase them the other way!
LOL!!!!!

That's superb, you actually believed this? Did you think the goats had to continuously face in one direction then? Heh!
Burnhall is right. It is an old haggis joke. Go to

This has cheered me up no end!

Thanks, Wasted Talen.
My dad told me that sheep have legs longer on one side than the other for the very same reason, but only sheep that live on hills. He said that the ones facing the other way had the other side longer.

I believed him for about an hour. I was quite young at the time.
Yes, a myth and a joke, I think just like the left handed screwdriver or the sky hook ;-)
Thunderbird you forgot the tarten paint
Just like humans have been designed with one leg shorter than the other to make it easier for them to climb staircases !!!
No No, your mean a Capercaillie !!!
Really jan, tartan paint is almost as silly as stripey toothpaste err....hang on a minute!
