my poor puppy
4 Answers
I went away for the week to P.E.I and had someone babysit my puppy he's only about 8 months. When I got back he had a broken leg. The thing is no one will tell me what happen. I want someone to pay for what they have done to my poor puppy. I need some tips on what I should do, can anyone help me out?

If not, it's possible that the dogsitter may have some knd of Public Liability Insurance cover under their household contents insurance, in which case their insurance company might pay for the treatment without her own pocket being affected. I would firstly ask the dog sitter for a written statement of what happened for insurance cover purposes and ask if they would investigate their Contents Insurance cover funding the treatment under their Public LIability clause cover. If they don't have this cover, still ask for a written statement of the incident and present it either to your Pet Insurance company if you have one. If you don't, see if your household insurance cover would pay up. If your dog sitter is difficult about providing a written statement and is not open about the accident I would tell them that you're beginning to wonder whether it really was an accident, and whether you should involve the police or the RSPCA. Obviously you won't be using this person again.
