could someone please tell me, i recently bought a piece of bogwood for my tank trops, i have soacked it for to days a lot of dye came out of it , i tryed to put in the tank and it just floated, some one said to tie it down with lead is this right, i am just learning. thank you.

I would rather use a well placed rock to secure it than lead, but lead would be easier and often used in fish tanks, I just not a lover of using lead myself.

if its the proper bog wood stuff(mopani) it shud just sink, otherwise wack a big rock on it an hope
