If you spin a cat will it bcome dizzy?

I have been debating with some friends and we can't seem to come to a conclusion so i put the quetion to you. If you spin a cat will it bcome dizzy?

Sorry to all cat lovers i love cats and ive a georgous one of my own gilly but when i was at my b/friends once we did put his cat on a swizzle chair and spun him around on it he is so timid and just kept coming back for more but eventually he couldnt walk straigh and ended up wobbling around the front room he was completley fine after a min or so and like i said kept coming back for more we didnt do it again as we though it was pretty mean but YES cats do get dizzy

I find the anger at this question very silly. I find cruelty to animals disgusting but It is a very interesting question, not a question about how to torture cats. Maybe it should have been worded do cats get dizzy? I have a cat of my own that will sit on the lazy susan and meow until you spin it seems to me my cat thinks its fun he also never seems to get dizzy maybe its not spinning fast or long enough but none the less it makes this question very interesting do cats have some adaptation or simply a behavior they use to be able to not get dizzy same as how they can spin around in the air yet always land on their feet

I think we all know any animal will get dizzy when spun, the question is, is it harmful seeing as cats have a more intricate "balance/inner ear" system than other animals. As for cruelty; it's cruel if you intend it to be and/or if the cat doesn't like it or it is harmful. In my experience cats and dogs as pets enjoy a certain amount of "horsing around".
