Volunteering at Battersea
6 Answers
I'm in the process of becoming a volunteer dog socialiser at the Battersea Dogs and Cats home (going for an induction day on saturday). I'm really looking forward to it and just wondered if anyone on here does this kind of thing and if so what your experiences have been?
Thanks. :-)
Thanks. :-)

A kennel atmosphere is really stressful for them and they inevitably don't get much human contact so its a chance for them to have some human contact and get used to it if they are not already. With some nervous ones its a chance to try to increase their confidence as well and hopefully make them easier to rehome.
