Neither Emus nor Kangaroos can walk backwards.
Drunk ones
snake.
Mole.
Wildwood, can you explain that ? I am convinced that moles can walk backwards, and can't find any evidence to suggest otherwise. ................................................... and Xyzzy, when did you see a snake walking in any direction ?

Strozzy: A mole's anatomy suggests that that it is most unlikely that they could walk backwards. Legs on the side and all that. What convinced you that they could walk backwards? If you've actually seen one walk backwards, I'll retract my contribution.

I think you'll find that the mole can move in any direction - it's all to do with its special fur.

The European mole is a small animal with a pointed snout, large digging forepaws and very small eyes. It has a thick, velvety coat designed to help it move both backwards and forwards in small tunnels in the soil.

In that case, I'm gone :-)

Well, I suppose you can't get them all right.

No strozzi, i never seen a snake walk anywhere, proves my point, they can't walk backwards. :-)
What about a Pushmepullyou then?
dalphins cant swim backwards
Birds?
Just in case you're not clear what the correct answer is, its definately Kangaroos. Not sure about any of the other, but Kangaroos cant walk backwards, I think because of their knee and tail designs.
