bugs in the house

Hi for some reason over the last few weeks i keep finding caterpillars in my house over the last 7 weeks we have found 10 downstairs. They do look like small maggots but as a fisherman im sure there not as i can see many little legs on them. Anyone else ever had this problem.

Afraid not, but just had a frog in the passage.

They sound like moth larvae, you need to check around underneath your furniture and look for the pupae hanging on the underside, especially furniture that is very close to the floor and in the corners of the carpets and see if they are thread bare, if so you will need to call in pest control I'm afraid.

Have you had any fresh flowers or pot plants in the house recently? It's possible that some of the eggs may have be brought in on the leaves and the caterpillars have how started to hatch out.
