Why it you never see baby daddy long legs if you know what i mean, you onl ever get plauged by big ones, are they born/hatched one size and never grow, they all seem to be the one size...

hey, don't knock it - i was terrified of anything that flew or crawled when i was little. I was determined that my kids wouldn't have that fear.
My daughter loves fairies and so she believes that we need craneflies for them. She leaves them alone and she's not upset by them. Her 12 year old brother, however, for some reason, walks around the house with a shoe, smashing them to smithereens whenever he gets the chance. If there is one in his room - he can't sleep!
Which way would you rather be?

Awwww bless....always wondered how the fairies went long distance! .... because anyone in the know, knows that fairies have their own wings ;o]

Good point well made crisgal, but got to say i'm with your 12 year old lad on this one, I mean apart from the transportation of faries over long distances, what do they do, what could a Daddy long legs put on its C.V that would impress me or better still deter me from squishing it.. Wasps there's another one.., What are they about, the hoodies of the insect world..!

ah now then, wasps are a completely different thing! I meant to say: my kids were brought up to respect all creatures EXCEPT wasps. wasps are horrible, have no purpose, and all of them must die!

Divegirl - have you ever stopped to wonder how far the tooth fairy has to travel? her wings are tiny and she needs to carry all the coins and teeth too.
Saying she shouldn't ride a wing creature is like saying "Why do we ride horses, when we've got our own legs?"
