Is anyone as fed-up as I am with Bill Oddie ? Whenever Kate Humble speaks, he interrupts constantly. He's lovely and all that, but for goodness' sake man please let Kate speak !!

Lovely programme though, Simon is as endearing as ever, it all makes you feel good to be alive.

No whiffey, I think they are both lovely and clearly respect each other. Bill may sometimes appear a little over enthusiastic, but that is the nature of a live programme - and he is no way rude to the equally lovely Kate.

I do agree, it is a wonderful to see the autumn wonders and I can't wait for the 'geese show'. All life is here!

I dont know about Bill, What about the poor baby seal?(sniff) i've been thinking about the poor little thing all day, and Im not sure whether i can actually stand to watch it tonight, just in case........

God i need to toughen up!

What happened to the little seal - I only saw the last bit so missed the whole story?

He was a newborn who's mother was rejecting him. He was trying to suckle from her and she was attacking him (horrendus!). They said that he wouldnt last the night if the maternal instinct didnt kick in.

vis a vis not a lot, I am always so impressed by the quality of the photography in these natural life programmes. I have tried to get a shot of a warbler and the best I could manage was a blur in the brambles.

Hats off to these cameramen. Good TV !
