Cactus trouble
3 Answers
I have a particular cactus that has been with me for over 6 years. In the last year, he has been infected by mould probably caused by over watering. I recently cut off the top where the mould had set in in an attempt to savage him but it spread further but has since stopped.
My question is, can this little warrior be saved or is he dying? Shall I perform more surgery?
Many thanks

Also if you've done this it's a good idea to use a layer of sand over your cactus soil mix to help with drainage and wicking moisture away from the tender fellow while he recovers!
