tiny ants

i have found lots of tiny ants in my kitchen and bathroom,they are about 2 mm long, i know they are ants because i have taken a photo using a macro lens,in the summer i went to brazil on holiday is it possible i brought them home? does anyone have any idea how to get rid of them,are they a native species?thanks in advance

Its possible they could be Pharaoh Ants. Do they travel in long trails ? I think you really need a qualified pest controller to identify and perform treatment. your local authority should be able to help. Good luck Tbird+
