Overwatered plant
3 Answers
I have over watered my mums plant over the last couple of weeks. Is there a way to speed up the evaporation / water uptake so it doesn't die? I've thought about trying to dry it out over the radiator then I thought it probably won't like that too much.
Any ideas? Newspaper under the pot etc. Is it doomed? The soil is waterlogged. Many thanks in advance.

I too sometimes accidently over water pot plants and if I manage to catch it early enough, I remove the dish and raise the pot up on something like a couple of short bits of cane etc and allow it to drain through.
You can also sometimes recover a semi dried out plant by submerging it for an hour or so. Good Luck Tbird+
