Where can i go to see the penguins?

Hey does anyone know where in the Uk that i can take someone to see some penguins? maybe there is a zoo with penguins near you or a sanctuary or something? Any help would be great! Cheers

Bristol zoo isnt that far from you.
and the seal and penguin coast is very good ,you go under the water and watch them swimming around you . heres a link.

Cheers muchly for that webbo - greatly appreciated! My friend totally adores penguins and i was thinking of taking her there as a suprise for her birthday! Much better than i was looking for! sure beats walking round a zoo freezing my a*s off! :)

Banham Zoo in Suffolk is great - it's a bit of a trek, but you could make a weekend of it. There's a lovely traditional cider house opposite and lots of lovely b&b's and site-seeing too. By the way, the penguins are gorgeous, but extremely smelly!!!

Can i just say that seeing the penguins in Edinburgh is brilliant!! They do a penguin parade and you can literally be inches away from them! they are sooo cute!!
