Thank you! Its just that I want to become a dragon slayer. Before doing this I just wanted to make sure that I cant get killed!
Dragon Slaying is one of the most coverted yet lucrative occupations. You obviously have to pass the PDCF112 course. Not many people know that though. You shouldnt be at too much risk from the fire, you will be issued with a fireproof uniform.

Gembo I appreciate very much your passion for the issues that concern myself. Thanks for the advice on the PDCF112 course. This has been metioned to me by the oracle of the UN dragon slaying comunity unfortunately I am not able to par take in this as I only have one completely functional leg.
Well i would hope to high heaven that they would not discriminate against this. You can report them to the HSCLT about this if they do.
Question Author
Gembo its all over for me to be honest. I just recieved a letter dated 22.12.06 which states

" Dear *******,

Unfortunatley we are not able to process your application any further. This is not discrimination however the use of both legs is needed on a regular basis. With the condition you have you would not be fully functional."
I'd seriously consider getting in touch with the HSCLT, although they stated that you need the use of both legs, there are ways and means these days to help you. Slaying Dragons is a very brave occupation to undertake and the fact that you wish to do this with just one leg is a credit to you and should be acknowlegded. I have half a mind to get in touch with them myself, Pinkyw.
Question Author
Gembo thank you very much for your ongoing support and occupational advice.
THIS DRAGON certainly does.
They are an endangered species here in Wales and protected. They only go around in large groups each with a team of bald headed bouncers. They do breathe fire but you'd be wasting your time trying to be a slayer here - it would be like trying to get through an invisible force field.

If one breaks away from the group they are masters of disguise and can blend in to any environment even in Tesco or Megabowl.

I'd leave it if I was you.
I know what you mean Athley, I live in Wales but did not find out about the ability our dragons have of disguise until I had been married for three years, what a shock.
Good one!!!!
Some rare species breathe ice instead of fire. the komodo dragon doesn't breathe either but has highly toxic saliva so don't let it drool on you.
According tothe dragon expert, Anne McCaffrey, they can only breathe fire if they first of all consume some agnothree.
gen2: dragons do not consume agenothree, they take in firestone given by us riders carried in a pouch while a dragonback fighting thread, they chew it, it gets digested in a ruminated way and belch forth fire...that's the long and short of it. Of course gold queen dragon riders use agenothree in a flamethrower chemical kind of way, for to use firestone in golds would make them sterile and could not reproduce.
Sorry don't advocate slaying, just wanted to set a wrong to right on facts. Carry on.....
I stand corrected dragonrider It is far too many years since I left Pern.
