If you have seen one this no doubt means there are 10 more you havent seen. You are best to take action straight away as if he enters you home and chews yor electrics you could have a house fire. However you can get humaine traps where the rat is kept alive and you can set him free in local wild ground. the other alternative is to set poison. All depends how much you like rats.
