missing dog - Holywell area - please help.

My Auntie and Uncles dog went missing at midnight last night, she's petrified of fireworks and the neighbours had a small display. To cut a long story short, somehow she's managed to get out of the house and the garden. They live a remote area and have looked everywhere by car and on foot, she is microchipped they have informed police, animal shelters but were wondering if there's any other places they should inform/check? they can't get through to the dog warden.

If you live around the Holywell (Brynford) area of North Wales and have any information or even think you may have seen her can you please let me know, she's about 11 years old, little and white (Terrier) and is very very friendly.

local dogwardens, police, local radio stations, taxi drivers,lorry drivers, posters printed off, local
animal shelters. Go out to the area she went mising calling her all the time

If you live in a rural area pin notices to farm gates, trees etc.

Also visit/telephone local farms and give them a description of the dog - she may be holed up in a barn or something. Ask neighbours to check outbuildings like sheds etc.

Our old dog is also scared of fireworks. He went missing on bonfire night. We drove round looking for him and luckily a lady and her children had seen him on the road and had drove him home to safety and were stroking him in the back of the car when we passed. So we found him anyway.

On the same night someone else had lost their dog and theirs simply walked into the house the next day. You never know this could happen here aswel.

Thank you everyone for all your help it's been much appreciated, they are going to wait and see what the morning brings. I've been to doglost.co.uk and have registered as a doggie helper, I never even new things like that existed but it's such an excellent idea. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Whats her name? I'll keep an eye open. have you asked in the Blue Bell? They've got two jack russells, she might have been attracted there is you're anywhere nearby. Or ask in the other pubs. Put up notices.

She's called Shami, I don't live in holywell myself so I don't know the area very well, but they live near the golf course. My uncle has put up a lot of notices today I think he went as far as the crooked horn pub.

I've just remembered the blue bell is in Halkyn, not Brynford sorry. I went through there today and may be back there tomorrow and I'll look out for her. Hope you find her.

post notes with pictures on them and putting "REWARD" may help too. Post them ALL over in local shops and on lamp posts. Especially put them at traffic intersections on the lamp posts or something. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Hi everyone, we still haven't found Shami :( but not giving up hope, she's probably loving frolicing with rabbits and birds in the fields.

Dog Lost is brilliant. They will keep coming up with ideas and people will put up posters for you in any area. Many dog have been reunited with their owners because people have seen their details on a doglost poster.

There is also a site called Petsearch UK. who do a similar job.
