If you freeze your pet while you are on holiday (save on kennel fees etc) is it safe to microwave it back to life on ones return ?

Yes, as long as you place beloved pet in a non-metallic dish.
Yes... Just don't over heat it. Then it will explode like one of those Gremlin things, remember when it was put in the micro. Maybe you should let it defrost over night, might be safer.

I have decided I may just do that myself, cancel the kennels today and stick her in the freezer instead.

I wish it was that simple, how much does it cost you?

I used a cat sitter whilst I was away over Christmas. It cost 114. Why do we do it!
Why bother? Just think what a sensational party piece that'd be when your bowl of punch has a frozen pooch floating in it cooling it down??

I'm so sorry
I do not find this humorous in the least!

think the cryogenic fees would faaaaarrrrrr outstrip the kennelling costs or are you planning a DIY ???? lol and lots of luck !!!
Humour can be a difficult concept to some.

Just ensure you defrost the right "thing"? Put your pet in a freezer bag, and write "Rover or Fluffy" on it. Rump steak doesn't chase balls or purr.
pmsl,

how not funny is this, call yourself animal lovers, lol
I agree with kaylamay, but all dogs that can fit in a micowave should be microwaved!!!!!!!!!
i know you might all think its funny talking like that, but if you hear of some of the horrors stories that actually do happen. a 9 week old boxer puppy wouldnt eat his dinner so the bloke stuck him in a oven and turned it on. the puppy was only taken out when the neighbours heard him screaming, when they got him out his skin was on fire and they could smell the skin burning. he died before getting to the vets. a kitten drank from someones cup so to teach it a lesson the boiled the kettle and poured it all over it, the ending was the same. so is it that funny ???
No not at all, it's horrific and I'm sure we are all animal lovers on here, but the question and silly answers were just a few people having a laugh. (A bit like watching Tom and Jerry-we wouldn't really like to see cats sliced up or squashed by steam-rollers but it can make us laugh!!)
I have pets,am a member of Care for the Wild,WWF,and I am even a vegetarian but I can take a joke!!!!
LOL!!
TIGERLIT- for heavens sake, lighten up, totally agree with ganesh here. I'm an animal lover myself, I curently own a dog, 3 tankfulls of fish a hubby and 2 kids. And I whilst I deplore animal cruelty I can tell a joke when I see it, of which this is obviously one!

Again, like ganesh has said- do you not laugh at Tom & Jerry?
"3 tankfulls of fish a hubby and 2 kids."
Is the hubby in one tank and the kids in the other?
Now that IS cruelty!!
Heck no...one tank fits all ganesh

;-)
Yeah but the kids won't grow, you know what they say about goldfish, still, save some money at Sainsburys I guess!!
