my cat is in season and i was wondering if you could tell me what happens when my cat finds a mate will this make her quieten down and be calmer

Keep her in the house just now and then have her neutered as soon as you can after her season ends.

as wolf & drgnrdr say, it won't make her calm down, only make her pregnant ! best to get her spayed :-)
