Cat scratching!

My cat has recently taken to scratching the front door to be let in. I wouldn't mind but she's ruining the door. Is there anything i can do to make her stop.

Cat flap could be the answer.

my cat does the same she always has she 7 now and the expression on her face is so funny she ruined one door so much we had 2 get a new one so sorry i dnt think i no nethin tht can stop her

Thanks anyway for your answers. My cat is sat here on my lap looking all smug. My husband did say that cats don't like the smell of oranges and to rub one all over the door, but then i worry that she won't come back at all.

Stop lettin her out? or put a catflap in? As far as I can see they are your 2 options cos the orange method won't work!!
