My bunny is 2 years old and has always lived in the kitchen in a plastic 'tank' type thing (especially for rabbits) but he has the free run of the kitchen as and when he likes to hop out. He mainly only poos and wees in the tank but sometimes does it on the kitchen floor in the corner. As this is the same place that he sleeps, i'm wondering if he is confused about where to do it. I was also wondering how he would take to sleeping/hiding in one of those little fluffy (cat?) beds. I'm sure i have heard of bunnies sleeping in something similar, or am i going mad? Then he can just use the tank to poo and wee in?

I don't know, i'm a bit confused! Any advice would be great thanks.

I am off to bed and will post more tomorrow, but I would advise that you litter train him using a non-clay-based litter. have a look here for info: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/litter.html

As for the fluffy cat bed, I would advise against it. As you probably know, bunnies like to chew and dig, and they could easily swallow pieces and cause an obstruction. Best to give him hay as bedding, or put a small rug down and be very vigilant about making sure he doesnt chew on it. Best of luck.
