do chickens have ribs? if so why do u never see them when you have a fresh chicken for sunday dinner?

Sure they have ribs, have another look. They're quite thin but they're obviously ribs and they're right where ribs are supposed to be.
You don't see them because we tend to slice the breast meat off of them to serve it.

If you were served the whole bird you would find them underneath the breast meat, as you do when eating something like a pigeon which is usually served whole.
