I have recently set up a new tropical aquarium and aquired some new plants for it. One has broad dark green long (1ocm) leaves that slighty curl toward the side, not sure if its called Amazon Sword. Anyways, I've noticed tiny red blotches on most of the leaves and in time some of these blotches have sprouted into bunches of reddy pink tendril root type things. What are these and should I be worried? Where can I find out more?

The Amazon Sword plant does produce stems, and buds at certain stages, but if you are really worried you should check out www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/aquatic-plants, they have lots of specialist forums and members who are experts.
Hope this helps!
