Lovebirds

Hi
I have been given a pair of lovebirds. Obviously got a book etc but any advice especially what they like to eat etc would be appreiated. Apart from coffee, avocado, alcohol and cholcolate what is dangerous to feed. Any ideas for two names - dont know if male or female but want a couples name that can be either !!! Thanks

You should be able to get a generic 'parrot mix' bird food at a good pet shop, as lovebirds are in that family. This kind of seed mix is the staple of their diet.
They also like millet spray, which you can get from the same kind of place, and most fruit and vegetables.
I had a lovebird that ate loads so I called him/her Pieface lool.

Ive got a pair of lovebirds and they are a nightmare,either really quiet or really really noisey,going to get rid of them soon.
i always buy a ********* mix and some x-tra black sunflower seeds(dont give them too many of these tho as they are high in energy and unless you have a big aviary or let them out they wont use it up) , mine also love brocoli and you can buy seed sticks( its a piece of wood covered with seeds and honey mixture).
also mix a ground oyster shell in their food or sprinkle a bit on top and dont forget the cuttle fish.
and finally ........this is important .....lovebirds drink lots and lots of water
