Is it true or just an urban myth that there are Pyrannahs in the St Helens canal near the hotties (Pilkingtons Glass Factory)? As legend goes, they were released into the canal (which is very warm in places due to the factory)

Oh its definately true ok....we had a terrible job trying to catch one once so that we could take it to the local pet store to sell.....one of my little friends fell in and we never ever saw him again....it was quite sad, but hey, I got to keep his fishing net......
many moons ago we had a few questions on the dangerous wildlife at large in our safe little island, pumas etc. at that time i posted that a mate of mine had 'lost track' of a rather large python in west londonand to keep a lookout for it. i would like to report that said python has been found, but unfortunately it hasnt and i can only report that he's now 'lost' a pair of pink toed tarantulas too. on the positive side he's now decided only to have pets that you can give names to and will come when called. i let you know if he 'loses' them too. :-)
Oh my God...perhaps all of this dangerous wildlife is conspiring againt we humans and they are all heading of to some secret placce underground to establish their forces. Methinks Ben Nevis may be a more suitable option.
It's true, and it has three eyes...
