I remembered seeing a doco a few years back on sloths, and it showed one swimming across a river. It swam faster than that it could move on land or in the trees. confirmation at

Pigs can also swim very well.
Birds is a good one <bunny29. Most birds not designed for water would soon become waterlogged and die from cold.
Adult crabs and urchins can't actually swim either.
It seems that humans can't swim (naturally) either.
