My 5 month old puppy is loosing her baby teeth. The problem is her bottom canines are not being pushed out by her adult teeth, they are just pushing them sidways, with the big teeth coming through on the inside.

The big teeth are about half the size of the baby teeth now, and her baby teeth are still fixed in strongly.

Should I give it a few days and see how it goes, or take her to the vets and get baby canines remeoved.

All her frount adult teeth are through without problem, and her molars look OK so far.

I had a puppy, who this also happened to. After acouple of days, the baby teeth did fall out and the adult teeth staightened out. So maybe you should wait a little while and see what happens.

Thanks newtron, Ill wait and see, but the adult teeth are straight, they have pushed the baby teeth sideways!!
If they don't come out in a couple of days, i would advise you to go the vet, I had a pup that was similar and they had to be removed under general anaesthetic

One has come out just now. Adult tooth looks fine, think I'll leave it a while longer. Wow how quickly they lose their teeth once they start. She has lost 2 today!!!!
