Good morning Marlonenora if i remember correctly my burty had 2 injections we took him for his first one at just over 8 weeks old and the vet told us to keep him in an other 2 weeks then after the 2 weeks we took him back for his 2 one but your vet should advice you how to go on about puppy care i asked lots of questions and my vet was very helpful my burty is one now and he is going for his boosters next week i hope this helps a little and congratulations on your new arrival love megan07 and burty
Pups have two injections I would wait until 10 weeks for the first one as pup will still be covered by his dams emunity and the injection won't do anything the second one would then be 2 weeks later at 12 weeks then a week later you can take pup out for it's first lead walk. thats when the fun really starts :-)

thank you very much

Normally two jabs two weeks apart, at either 9 or 10 weeks for the first one, although in some breeds they sometimes give three, to cover things like parvo, the first being given at an earlier time, particularly if the puppy is going to a new home early.
