It may seem weird but I realise that in some parts of the world dogs and cats are food - and this I accept. I can't impose my beliefs and thoughts on others.
However nobody has to be cruel to an animal before its death. That should be illegal in this country and abroad. I read once that they stick the dogs/cats in the cages as they taste better when they have been stressed.
How these people can sleep at night beats me. I think there needs to be tighter control world wide on the treatment of animals destined for food. I am no bleeding heart nor am I an extreme animal activist. But I hope that I am a typical human being who would like to make the world slightly better for my children (or my cats in my case).
