One of our JR's has a white face with no pigment round one eye, and we plan to take her to Spain for 6 months.
Any suggestions as to how we protect her from getting burnt ?
I've got her a little baseball cap but was wanting something a bit more practical x x

I had a white cat and we used suncream. Use total block on the ears even in this country as she could end up losing them to cancer
I find that making a custom-built eye patch, similar to the one Long John Silver used in the film Treasure Island, and put it on his non-pigmented eye, would work a treat.
I cannot see this being cruel, as I have spotted several dog owners who actually put buckets on their dogs tails, just to protect the tail from the sun. Maybe you could put a bucket on the JR's head if he keeps ripping off the eye-patch. Hope this helps.
