Why do milkmen have to deliver the milk so early in the morning, when you can go down to any supermarket at any time of day or night and get the same milk?
I suppose its supposed to be early so that its left on the doorstep while the weather is still cool enough.
In Australia the milkman delivers it in the evening as that is their cooler part of the day.
The milk delivered by my milkman is superior to supermarket milk. He gets all his milk from a local farm and it tastes much nicer. Also they deliver early so you get fresh milk for your breakfast. And why should I travel at least 3 miles (my nearest supermarket) for milk when I can get it delivered? Not everyone has a supermarket on their doorstep.
