Does any body else think its cruel and evil? And once I watched that documentary 'meet the foxes' where they hid in the bathroom and a fox came and they shot it then another one came to see what was wrong with it and they shot that one too, I then went upstairs and cried my eyes out on my sisters bed. That is just how I feel am I being too sensitive?
At least you were brave enough to watch the programme. Once I read about the foxes being shot I couldn't watch as it would have made me upset and probably want to shoot the people who wanted rid of them!
As far as fox hunting is concerned, i'd rather be killed in less than a second by a pack of hounds than be hiding in my home, fit with a terrier, be dug out then have someone stand on me and finally blow my brains out.
I do admit though, i would have been upset at the documentary.
If you read the reviews of this documentary, you will have read that it was made up. The fox family was made up, it was made to emotionalise a subject that is already subject to high emotion.
The ban on fox hunting has lead to an increase in fox deaths. Foxhunting killed the old and diseased, shooting is indiscriminate but the killing of foxes is necessary.
Fox hunting should not have been banned
amonty - you are right and we tried to tell people this is what would happen. So those who wanted a ban should not come bleating if they don't like the alternatives.
Well answer me this. . .
Would you want to die in a way were you have baying hounds at your heels snapping at you horns playing in the distance.
Reaching the safety of your own home to find it blocked and then turning around to find yourself being ripped up by the stupid bloodthirsty dogs.
Its evil and it should be banned.
And all you people who don't want to hear about it imagine if you were that poor fox.
