Would chickens suffer from inbreeding if a lady chicken or duck was to mate with its dad? How would this affect them? I'm not planning any insestuous birdlife, just curious.

Breeding a hen or duck to its father is done quite often and should not have any detremental effect. Any more inbreeding than that should be done with caution as it is likely to promote negative characteristics.
